It isn't that I regret returning to my position at the Ministry, it's just that I should have taken a few days off before I returned. The level of chaos here is...irritating. No one wants to admit to helping the last Minister and his allies, but everyone's departments seem to be in ruins with the Death Eaters rooted out.
It falls to me to settle nerves and reassure people, and to be entirely honest my personality doesn't lend itself to comforting people. It is good to stay busy, though. Work keeps one's mind off of one's problems. I expect when the Wizangamot has selected a new Minister order will soon follow.
